A1: All 4 staple lengths are heavy duty; Staple sizes are usually displayed as two numbers split with a forward slash i.e. 26/6. The first number indicates in the gauge of wire used in mm. The second number indicates the depth of the leg in mm (also known as the shank length). So 26/6 means the staple has a 26mm gauge and a 6mm shank length. It's the shank length that impacts how many pages you can staple and that varies depending on the thickness of paper but needless to say a 26/6 can handle less than a 26/8. The platen of this stapler, from the looks of it, can be moved from the flat ("flat stapling") position to an angle, for booklet, or saddle stapling.
